Hi there.  It’s Khiyali this time. Usually Amma does the posts, though I did do Kahaani.  But this time I’m doing the post, at least most of it.  Now let’s get to the post.

We found a waffle maker that we didn’t know we had. Step one: Find a recipe!  Sure, we found a waffle recipe, and it worked fine, but why stop at what you’re supposed to do?         Introducing:                                                                                                                                                       The Dosa – Waffles!  Take dosa batter and PUT IT IN THE WAFFLE MAKER!!!                           (It works!!) It also works with pesarottu batter. Try any batter you want, and PUT IT IN A WAFFLE MAKER!!!!!!!!!  If you do, comment on this and tell us how it turned out! Good luck! (Oh, and you can also comment if you don’t do it. But do it :))                                                     But that was only step one. Step two: Decorate!! And not just your regular whipped cream. (But we did do that too.) No no no.  Now you may not know this, but Amma and I are pretty good at …(drumroll please)…                                                                                                                                        STRANGE COMBINATIONS!  Here is our Dosa – Waffle – Peanut Butter – Peach STRANGE COMBINATION:

If you can’t have peanut butter, or you just don’t wan’t it…

Go try some more combos!                                                                                                            Good luck!

Hi This is Aravinda, with a strange combination of my own to share –

Actually it is not originally mine.   My cousin Srikanth was eating కండి పొడి  with  ఆవకాయ when we visited him in Guntur way back in 1982.  Though not with waffles.

Wow…a dosa in the waffle maker is kind of half-idli and half-dosa! It’s a great idea for people who do not have idli makers.

I’m going to try other batters in my wafflemaker now too!

Wow looks yummy! Although not sure about apple with dosa waffle…are those apple pieces…or (more to my taste) fried potato kura pieces?
Also, really like the little girl who is doing the cooking!
