1 cup పప్పు (दाल) (dal)
1 cup పెరుగు (दही) (yougurt)
2 small tomatoes, sliced or chopped
1 clove garlic, sliced thin
Make any type of పప్పు. Pictured here is spinach-dal. Cook it as thick as you like, without too much water.

* The immunity-supporting properties of garlic are said to be more potent in its raw form. Thinly sliced, raw garlic can get past most reluctant palates when mixed in dal, especially along with juicy fresh tomatoes.
